New VP for CAGBC
Wells Baker has been appointed Vice President, Product
Development at the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC),
where he will lead the strategic development and evolution of the
organization’s green building standards, products, and frameworks.
In this role, Baker will lead the strategic development and evolution of
CAGBC’s green building standards, products, and frameworks, ensuring
they consistently set the pace for the industry, remain technically rigorous, marketready, and meet the needs of Canada’s building sector.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the CAGBC and contributing to such important and
impactful work,” said Baker, who has over two decades of experience in design consulting and real estate development, and is well recognized within the green building industry. Baker brings a comprehensive and practical understanding of sustainability, demonstrated through mechanical system design, building certi昀椀cation, corporate ESG strategy,
decarbonization, industry leadership, and relationship development.
